AV8.biz (a division of Myriad Consulting Pty) was formed in 2005 by two experienced aviation professionals with the specific aim to design & build low-cost, high fidelity, professional Flight Training Devices for General Aviation, Commercial & Military Aviation Industries.   Mike Bromfield, principal, is an ex-Westland Helicopters Technologist, Chartered Aeronautical Engineer and a dual UK/Australian PPL Holder.   Mike is also a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society and the Simulation Industry Association of Australia.

Jamie Freeman is Manager of Headcorn Aerodrome, one of the UK’s most active GA Airfields a UK PPL Holder and head of Shenfield Aviation Maintenance Ltd.

Av8.biz innovative designs were developed over a period of 5 years utilizing emerging, low cost technologies.  After a period of development and trials starting in 2002, the M200 FTD was released for general use in 2005.
